Job Title - Can range from Associate Director - Senior Director

Location - Remote

 

Summary:

An exciting career opportunity to establish and nurture relationships with biotech and pharmaceutical companies, craft business strategies, and secure business within the U.S. market. This role focuses on biologics drug product development and manufacturing services, including formulation development, drug product process development, clinical manufacturing, and DP release and stability testing.

In this role, staying ahead of competitors involves actively monitoring their strategies and contributing innovative ideas that will drive the evolution of our biologics drug product services.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with internal teams—including Marketing, BD, and CMC Management—to uncover market opportunities swiftly and effectively penetrate the U.S. market.
  • Forge strong connections with pertinent biotech and biopharma organizations.
  • Consistently meet with clients to explore and secure new business opportunities among existing clients, while also cultivating relationships with potential new clients.
  • Develop specific account strategies for strategic/key clients.
  • Partner with the management team to formulate annual business plans and objectives informed by the latest trends in the marketing landscape and industry.
  • Create comprehensive monthly and quarterly business strategies designed to meet our quarterly and annual goals effectively.
  • Regularly brief the management team on U.S. market trends and developments on a monthly basis.

 

Qualifications:

  • Candidates should possess at least a BA/BS degree in fields such as chemistry, biology, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or related disciplines. An MBA degree is preferred
  • Candidates should have over 5 years of industry experience in sales or business development roles.
  • Experience in business development within the CDMO sector, particularly focused on biologics drug product development and manufacturing
  • Capability to devise and execute sales strategies and tactics effectively.
  • Proven capability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • A demonstrated ability to effectively handle and oversee multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Open to frequent travel as required.
