DEI trainings in the workplace: WuXi Biologics further fosters DEI and sustainability

Our Employee Diversity Policy states that all staff, regardless of their religious beliefs, race, age, skin color, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, nationality, ethnicity, marital status, or disabilities, will be provided with equal opportunities for development and paid equally for equal work.
We strictly prohibit all forms of discrimination and workplace harassment. Training and advocacy ensure that staff learn and fully understand our requirements and corporate culture.
Adhering to these core concepts, the company conducted bilingual sessions of DEI trainings towards global employees in 2022 as part of its standard practice, attracting employees from all of our operational locations attending the trainings with constructive dialogues and healthy discussions.
The trainings offer a general presentation of ESG and sustainable development, and specifically address the topic of DEI. We introduce why DEI matters to the company and to every one of our employees, and share the efforts made by the company to promote DEI.
Particularly, we restate the Employee Diversity Policy, and provide brief introduction about anti-discrimination and anti-harassment. On this subject, common types and forms, real-world examples, prevention measures, reporting channels and reporting protection policies are all covered in the trainings to offer a comprehensive picture of anti-discrimination and anti-harassment. All these are designed to further ensure open and transparent communications among employees and build a more equal and inclusive organization.
Going forward, the company will continue to improve DEI governance model, formulate more supportive policies, and offer effective and practical trainings, through a holistic and diversified approach to foster DEI and achieve sustainability.
