Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will....

  • Act as Global AIS project and service partner to support regional and site business in new automation /digitalization project, sustaining improvement and operational optimization work.
  • Work with technical team and business stakeholders to gather user requirements to form technical solution, and project proposal.
  • Lead and coordinate life-cycle project management for delivery of automation system, Vendor VPEs integrations, Building management System (BMS), and OT applications such as PI, MES.
  • Support activities such as document drafting, design review, acceptance testing, and qualifications as per GAMP5 for automation and computerized systems.
  • Drive functional commitment on the project and provide oversight and coordination to seamlessly integrate automation execution workstream at site.
  • Manage and coordinate project budgeting, forecasts, tasks, plans, risks, change management and status to support effective decision making, and project reporting to stakeholders and review boards.
  • Organize effective project meeting including steering meeting, promote effective risk and problem management to ensure processes are in place and used effectively.
  • Plan system handover, and post-project support to site engineering and maintenance team.
  • Assess opportunities for continuous improvement and form joint program with site business and Operation Excellence Office and other key stakeholders.
  • Lead global initiative and execute global strategy/standard/SOP harmonization/program rollout/ risk management etc. to enable site business robustness and speed through AIS systems and processes.

 

Your Profile: The ideal candidate for this position, will have the following:

 

Education/Qualifications:

Knowledge/Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Generic Engineering, Biochemistry, Automation, Electrical& Instrument with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical/biological industry.
  • Added advantage when familiar with biologics drug manufacturing process and key process equipment in a typical DS or DP facility.
  • Prior working experience in projects involving System integration, Automation, Instrumentation and Controls, or manufacturing digitalization within pharmaceutical/biochemical/biological industry.
  • A proven track record of leading complex projects and cross-functional initiatives. With the ability to provide detailed technical and commercial bid analysis to ensure that business needs are delivered.
  • Familiar with at least one major brand DCS and with good working knowledge on other systems like BMS/SCADA/PLC systems, with related deployment experience following GAMP5 validation approach.
  • Strong customer service, coordination, and interpersonal skills. Able to work cross-department and work with multi-discipline to drive project to success.
  • A team leader with good direction setting and team motivation.
  • Good knowledge on GMP regulation and requirement.
  • Able to communicate and work across different regions and different time zones.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, quick paced with flexibility to meet aggressive timeline. Can work independently with little or minimal supervision.
  • Domestical and international travel mobility is needed.
