Job Title - Buyer l (Contractor)

Work Location - Cranbury NJ

Responsibilities:

Manage the purchase order (PO) lifcycle for GMP specific material including but not limited to request for proposals (RFG), issuing purchase orers to vendors, managing open oderds, estimated delivery date (EDD) maintenance, expediting requesstm order cancellations, etc.
Manage the PO tracker to keep all information up to date with information regarding the PO lifecycle
Interface with the procurement department to ensure necessary pricing and lead times are kept up to date in the ERP sysem
Escalate any purchasing issues to mangement including but not limited to late EDDs, vendor management issues, poor vendor performance, etc.
Reslove delivery discrepancies with the warehouse department including but not limited to obtaining certifications, quaniity discreancies, quality issues, etc.
Hold open order calls with critical vendors.
Support resolution to GMP material problems with all internal and external parties
Effectively communicate the procurement processes and resuls to the internal stakeholders, and balance the expectations
Documentation request to vendors

Qualifications

Bachelos degree
Understand basic purchasing experience minimum
Should possess a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
Should possess strong and effective influencing, problem soliving and interpersonal skills
Proficient skills using MS Office products, especially Outlook and Excel
Expereince in SAP is a plus
