Responsibility

  • Partner with new biotech and pharma companies, to drive top line services growth North America / Europe
  • Focus on Microbial and mRNA/LNP platforms and opportunities
  • Build new client network and business opportunities
  • Work closely with the business development and CMC teams to develop the right strategies and tactics to meet the sales targets for the region.
  • Stay current on competitors and competitive strategies, and provide input needed for the development of future service offerings.
  • Represent WuXi Biologics at local and regional biotech conferences
  • Achieve rolling NA / EU regional sales target for the microbial business unit, and KPIs work across geographies to support the whole WuXi Biologics portfolio growth across clinical and commercial manufacturing
  • Develop and expand the new client base across the territory, building on the existing network. Strong network
    Contribute to key commercial strategies across the BD team. Key contributor and influencer in negotiation strategies. Strong negotiation and influencing skills to close business.
  • Work closely with the business unit teams, CMC and other departments to ensure efficiencies in all customer facing activities.
  • Responsible for managing all aspects of the customer relationship management, including regional dashboards, metrics and KPIs to measure performance against target

Qualification

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree. A scientific background is highly desirable as well as experience working in a CRDMO / CRO environment.
  • 5-10 years’ work experience     Experience in working with, and selling services in the microbial market 
    Proven track record of revenue growth
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time to clients, sites and internationally as needed.
