LC-MS Peptide Mapping for Sequence Coverage, PTM Analysis, and Sequence Variant Identification

This case study demonstrates how peptide mapping supports protein characterization through sequence, PTM, and sequence variant analysis. Deliverables included a sequence coverage map for protein identity confirmation, detection of PTMs, variants, fragments, and related species, and manual review above a user-defined intensity threshold (>1%) to assess sequence homogeneity.
