Job Summary:

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our accounting team. This role will require good accounting knowledge, intermediate Excel skills and the ability to work independently with a proactive approach. He/she will participate in day-to-day accounting transactions, month-end closing and annual auditing.  

 Job Description:

  • Prepare and post journal entries related to daily cash transactions and routine accounting activities in SAP.
  • Perform bank reconciliation and follow up on reconciling items in a timely manner.
  • Prepare monthly cash forecasts and analyze variances between forecast and actual results.
  • Analyze and reconcile Construction in Progress (CIP) accounts; support capitalization and project tracking.
  • Record fixed asset depreciation, new asset additions and disposals, and maintain supporting schedules.
  • Prepare prepaid expense reclassifications and amortization entries.
  • Perform FX revaluation entries in accordance with established accounting policies.
  • Support intercompany billing procedures by checking delivery status, monitoring intercompany transactions, and preparing month-end reclassification entries.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of assigned tasks.
  • Special projects and ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience in corporate or public accounting environment.
  • Knowledge of financial accounting principles (U.S. GAAP or IFRS)
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year close process.
  • Hands-on experience using SAP is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Fluent in Mandarin is preferred but not required

 

The anticipated pay for this position is $60,200-96,300
