Job Summary:

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our accounting team. This role will require good accounting knowledge, intermediate Excel skills and the ability to work independently with a proactive approach. He/she will participate in day-to-day accounting transactions, month-end closing and annual auditing.

Job Description:

Prepare and post journal entries related to daily cash transactions and routine accounting activities in SAP.
Perform bank reconciliation and follow up on reconciling items in a timely manner.
Prepare monthly cash forecasts and analyze variances between forecast and actual results.
Analyze and reconcile Construction in Progress (CIP) accounts; support capitalization and project tracking.
Record fixed asset depreciation, new asset additions and disposals, and maintain supporting schedules.
Prepare prepaid expense reclassifications and amortization entries.
Perform FX revaluation entries in accordance with established accounting policies.
Support intercompany billing procedures by checking delivery status, monitoring intercompany transactions, and preparing month-end reclassification entries.
Support month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of assigned tasks.
Special projects and ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
3-4 years of relevant accounting experience in corporate or public accounting environment.
Knowledge of financial accounting principles (U.S. GAAP or IFRS)
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year close process.
Hands-on experience using SAP is preferred but not required.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Fluent in Mandarin is preferred but not required
