Job Title - SCM Import/Export Operations Specialist (Contractor)

Work Location - Cranbury NJ

Shift/Schedule - Part-time (3 Business days on-site)

Role Type - Contractor - Duration 12/18 months (potenail extenstion to full time)

 

Job Summary - This is a role for someone detail-oriented, organized, self-started with good communication skills both oral and written.  Candidate should have the desire and a strong interest in learning the international trade and trade compliance field, inclusive of, but not limited to; international transport, U.S. PGA compliance, US Customs & Border Protection regulations, etc.

 

Job Responsibilites 

  • Candidate will provide general administrative, report creation and SCM IE management support.
  • The position focuses heavily on Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel (data tracking, report creation) and PowerPoint presentations
  • Create PowerPoint presentations for project meetings and training seminars.
  • Maintain and manage SCM/IE shipment trackers, 3rd party invoices as related to individual shipment expenses on existing excel trackers.
  • Assist, as needed, with invoice and shipment documentation creation and control
  • Maintain and update shared documentation IT repositories and file organization.
  • Assist with meeting scheduling, agenda preparation, minutes capture, and follow-up coordination.
  • Build and maintain Excel spreadsheets for operational KPIs and training compliance.
  • Prepare, edit, format and maintain GMP and non-GMP documents including work instructions, shipment and IE financial trackers, SOP’s and logs.
  • Use pivot tables, formulas, and charts to generate reports for SCM director
  • Assist Sr. Mgr Import/Export & Trade Compliance with C-TPAT program coordination, inclusive of; creation of new required SOPs, company training and other operational requirement launch under the C-TPAT project.

 

Qualifications 

  • 1–3+ years administrative, operations support, or office coordination experience.
  • Familiarity with international trade documentation is a major plus
  • Advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, dashboards, multi-sheet linking).
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint (professional slide creation, graphs, formatting).
  • Strong MS Word skills
  • Experience with Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, and collaborative platforms.

 

The anticipated hourly pay range for this postion is $30 - 40
